We arrived as planned by train in the morning to Kiev. I slept well on the train which was more modern than the one we went with from Kharkiw to Odessa. This time we had a kupé which also makes a big difference when it comes to comfortness. One of the other guys in the kupé was a jazz artist who shared some interesting horse milk with us…
Shortly after arriving we checked in at our apartment which we rent for a few days. It is a normal apartment, it has two rooms plus a decent kitchen and rest room with washing machine. One can walk to the train station and there is a metro station not far from here so the location is good. On the other side of the street (Leo Tolstoy street), there is a park where families are enjoying the nice weather.
When Tanya wakes up (she did not sleep as well as I did on the train) we will make our first real visit to the city entre to get some first impressions.
Tomorrow Sam, Lars and Rasmus will arrive to Kiev and the plan is to meet them at the train station in the afternoon.
Tobias will arrive on Saturday.
OK! I have updated the blog entry to correct this false information.
